- EPA Certified for 2010. EVERY PRODUCT. Important: The ratings on the page can be installed the United States during 2010. (California requires a minimum of Tier-2 below 74 kW) The US EPA and California Air Research Board requires engines between 75 kW and 530 kW meet the Tier-3 emissions standards. Tier-1 and Tier-2 engines between 75 and 129 kWcan be used if the NFPA-20 engine was built before Dec. 31, 2009 - or - the rating is less than 75 kWor greater than 530 kW.
Cummins Fire Power engine models with an "E" in the model name (example: CFP9E-F10) are Electronic engines. Electronic engines require additional controller connections that your controller supplier needs to be aware of. Refer to page 3. of the CFP wiring diagram.
