Cummins NPower LLC Introduces New Line of Tier 3 Stationary Fire Pump Drivers

DePere, WI April 14, 2009 – Cummins NPower announced today the release of their latest low emission diesel fire pump driver models for global distribution.

The fire pump drivers include the proven Cummins QSB6.7, QSL9 and QSX15 base engines. The Fire Pump model names and maximum ratings are:

CFP7E - up to 250 HP
CFP9E - up to 389 HP
CFP15E - up to 610 HP

These new models are EPA-emissions compliant to the stringent Tier-3 requirements and carry the UL & FM certifications. The engines are fully compatible with high sulfur #2 diesel fuels making them suitable for installation anywhere in the world.

All of the new engines have electronic governing offering isochronous speed control helping to minimize system over pressurization.
