Cummins Fire Power has been notified of a small number of CFP15E units experiencing "fuel in the lube oil". This infrequent complaint was discovered after a routine oil level check revealed that the oil level on the dipstick was found to be significantly above the full mark. Cummins Fire Power is diligently working with Cummins Inc. to identify the root cause of this issue, but in the meantime, has developed a kit to prevent the issue from reoccurring on units already installed in the field.

If you have a question or if you check the oil level on a CFP15E unit and find that the oil level is significantly above the full mark, please contact our Technical Support group (see contact below). This website will be updated as more information becomes available.
