Cummins has obsoleted the base engine used with the CFP6E fire pump drive engines. The VP44 Bosch electronic fuel system used on this engine was discontinued by Bosch forcing Cummins to obsolete the engine.
We are currently out of stock of the CFP6E base engines and can not take any more orders.
The CFP6E is an EPA Tier-2 engine. We will be releasing EPA Tier-3 engines for this power category later in 2008.
